Problem/Purpose Statements
So through much deliberation, my Problem/Purpose Statements have been finalized.
Problem Statement:
Resources pertaining to the basic principles of route-setting - the act of designing climbing movement through the arrangement of artificial holds - are rare and unreliable, making it difficult for new route-setters to learn proper techniques.
Purpose Statement:
The purpose of this study was to identify a necessary source of basic route-setting principles available to beginning route-setters at Planet Granite in San Francisco.

505 - Time to flex my design muscles.

I am Ivan Cua. A student at SFSU's Design and Industry Department since fall of '06. When i am done at the end of this semester, I plan to graduate with BSID emphasizing in Visual Communications.
Although my inspirations tend to change depending on my mood, i'm very much inspired by old school methods of print and design - especially posters and on clothing. I also tend to draw inspiration from illustrations anywhere from comic books to product concepts.
Balance.
Flow.
Design.
Jargon.
Synergy.
